Books for Elementary

Hello everyone!

Does anyone have suggestions for books they love to use with their elementary kids? I'm coming from PPCD and am looking for books/activities I could use to target a variety of needs. Thank you!

    Here are some of my go-to books:
    - anything by Jan Brett
    - How I Became a Pirate by David Shannon
    - A Bad Case of the Stripes by David Shannon
    - Amelia Bedelia
    - Enemy Pie by Derek Munson
    - Personal Space Camp by Julia Cook
    I also use my school librarian to find biographies and non-fiction books around themes!

    -The "Mr. Panda" books by Steve Antony
    -I Want My Hat Back by John Klassen
    -Grumpy Monkey by Suzanne Lang
    -Don't Touch My Hair by Sharee Miller
    -The "What Do You Do With..." series by Kobi Yamada

    Here are some of the books I love:
    -Anything by Chris Van Alsburg (e.g., Jumanji, Two Bad Ants, The Widow's Broom, The Wretched Stone, The Polar Express, etc.)
    - Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Pickels to Pitsburg by Judi Barrett
    - Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak
    - Miss Nelson is Missing by Harry Allard
    - All of the Howard B. Wigglebottom books for my younger students with pragmatic deficits.

Informed SLP Grammar Guide

Hey everyone!  The Informed SLP just released a free resource on their blog to help SLPs with targeting grammar forms in the therapy.  They've compiled a spreadsheet called "Grammatical Concepts of English: Suggested Order of Intervention." I've copied the link for the blog post below, and you can find the spreadsheet here . The Informed SLP Blog post:  https://www.theinformedslp.com/how-to/grammar-chart They do explain in the blog post that there are " no systematic studies have yet been completed that show which order of intervention is most effective." Even though this is the case, they've used the research that is available to try to describe logical sequences for targets. MSB Goals

Hey everyone! As I have been progress monitoring my students' goals, I noticed that sometimes the goals in MSB do not match the goals on their progress reports in esped. I was under the impression that MSB updated every day and would pull in esped goals. I'm not sure where some of the goals I've been submitting data for came from, because according to esped, my students don't have those things as goals. I hope that makes sense. Has this happened to anyone else?  Help! Lori
