We FINALLY have our first two Active Learning Professional
Collaboration meetings on the calendar!!! There will be two more meetings coming
second semester. J
What is the Active Learning Professional Collaboration?
A group of teachers, paraprofessionals, SLPs, related
service providers, and central support staff dedicated to improving the
educational experience of our students with Low Incidence Disabilities.
Who should be a part of it?
All staff who provide direct services or support to students
with Low Incidence Disabilities, many of whom participate in an Active Learning
Classroom.

Wednesday, November 14th, 4:30-6:30 pm
Greenwood Hills Elementary Staff Lounge
(*We will have the opportunity to visit Susan Gillam’s ALC
Classroom!!!)
Active Learning Professional Collaboration: Focus on PLAAFPs
and Goal Writing
Monday, December 10th, 4:30-6:30
Lake Highlands High School Library
(*We will have the opportunity to visit Sharon Howard and
Christa Lozada’s ALC Classroom!!!)
These meetings are not yet visible in True North Logic. I
will send an email to let you know when registration is available.
(Registration through TNL is not required to attend, but is recommended.) If
you have questions about whether or not it would be beneficial for you to
