Green Screen Idea

Hello The interactive whiteboard in your room is magnetic. I used magnets to hold a dollar tree plastic table cloth to it. I would not use tape to attach the table cloth to the board since that may cause issues with using the actual Interactive Board features with your computer.  The table cloth is thin enough to use other magnets to hold items on the green screen (similar to using velcro or tape).  I had a chance to look through your comments and questions. The links I included in my presentation should answer all the questions you asked last week. If you have further questions, please shoot me an email.  Dennis

Infographic for Zoom

Hi Wonderful SLPs! Happy first day of school! I posted this in the google drive but I wanted to post it here just in case. I created an infographic for our students to teach the annotate feature on Zoom. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like and the link to download your own copy. Have an amazing day! Continued Voting Curriculum Work

Image
Hi all, With election day quickly approaching, we need to continue to work on our SLP voting curriculum unit. In order to honor everyone's time, instead of setting up another workday, we would like people to go in and sign up to create different parts of the curriculum on the linked document with the plan to have everything ready to review and finalize by September 1st. You are more than welcome to work on pairs or groups, just grab a peer, sign up together, and plan a day to work on things. Please contact Jasmine Aronson if you have any further questions as we have placed her in charge of monitoring the development of SLP curricula.

SLP Email Signature Part 2

Image
Hi all, A couple of you have emailed me asking how to get your new email signature into the signature line of your email. I don't have a Mac so I will only be able to provide instructions based on a PC but hopefully, it is not that different on a Mac.  Step 1: Create an email signature using the linked template. Step 2: Snag a screenshot of your new email signature. I use SnagIt which is built into my computer. I have it set up to open when I press the "print screen" button on my keyboard but you can also open it from your email's file of programs.  Step 3: Save the snagged screenshot of your email signature to your computer's picture file. (For some reason SnagIt won't let me take screenshots of the program so I cannot show you how to do that. Step 4: Open a new email in your Outlook email account and navigate to the Signature option. Step 5: Choose the Signatures section of the Signature dropdown. Step 6: Add your new SLP email signature to the signature...
