Free Books and Manipulatives!

Hi everyone! We have been given several elementary/early childhood books with manipulative sets. The books are all in great condition. The manipulative kits may have some pieces missing (it's a little difficult to tell). If you are interested in having any of them, please click the link below to sign up! Here's how this would ideally work: 1. You sign up for what kit(s) you want to keep on your campus via the document linked below. 2. The Leads will send the kit(s) to you, you are welcome to adapt books via CORE, toss whatever is old or broken, etc. It's yours now! 3. If another SLP is interested in borrowing a book you now own, they can reach out directly to you and coordinate borrowing the book/manipulatives. Here is the document to sign up: Book Kits The document will remain housed in SLP Google Drive > Therapy Materials

VI Students - Speech-language evaluation process

Hello fellow SLPs, Kenzie and I are both testing a student this year who is visually impaired/blind. We were able to Zoom with Pamela Thomas to help brainstorm and give us suggestions on how to test a student with visual impairments. She was so sweet and reached out to an SLP at the T exas School For the Blind & Visually Impaired. I thought I would share the information she  received  in case anyone needs it in the future! It is also uploaded in the drive. See the link below. The SLP at the  T exas School For the Blind & Visually Impaired provided her contact information as well in case anyone would like to reach out to her directly. Please feel free to e-mail me if you would like her contact info.  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DiebZSIJrGKcLkA-t-_uEGvlH6HGH0r6OLO02n1muZg/edit?usp=sharing Special shout out to Rivka as well for helping Kenzie and I brainstorm and giving us some great ideas!

Teacher Bundles

Image
Hi all, At the beginning of every school year, we are asked to share Teacher Bundles of IEPs for the students we case manage. It takes a bit to get those archived, so I did some research to see if there was an easier and faster way to do it. Turns out, THERE IS!!! I have attached a screenshot with step-by-step clicks for how to create and auto-archive Teacher Bundles for your entire case-managed list in one sitting. You can then start to docu-share with your teachers from there. Happy bundling!! Nichole
