Hi all, There is a great opportunity for after-hours training related to AAVE through the REACT Initiative in honor of Black History Month.   I wanted to let you know about it in case you wanted to sign up and learn more about how to improve your diagnostic accuracy and support equitable practices for AAVE-speaking populations.  Hi everyone! We have been given several elementary/early childhood books with manipulative sets. The books are all in great condition. The manipulative kits may have some pieces missing (it's a little difficult to tell). If you are interested in having any of them, please click the link below to sign up! Here's how this would ideally work: 1. You sign up for what kit(s) you want to keep on your campus via the document linked below. 2. The Leads will send the kit(s) to you, you are welcome to adapt books via CORE, toss whatever is old or broken, etc. It's yours now! 3. If another SLP is interested in borrowing a book you now own, they can reach out directly to you and coordinate borrowing the book/manipulatives.
